Nick & Natalie
Husband and wife team Nick and Natalie started the business back in 2014 and continue to offer a personal, family-run approach.

Nick – The Boss
15 years at VW Dealership, trained up to Master Technician level. Business owner since 2014.

Natalie – The Real Boss!
15 years working within the NHS, before joining the team in 2019 to support the family business with admin and accounts.

Nathan
Nathan is our Fast Fit expert. Nathan has worked in specialist VW dealerships and most recently at Westbury’s vehicle preparation centre, Cazoo. He brings great knowledge, skills & techniques, working in the Fast Fit sector of the automotive industry & knows exactly what’s required to repair customers’ vehicles using fast fit activities e.g. repair/replacement of tyres, batteries & rotating electrical components

Jack
Meet Jack! He has zoomed through his three-year apprenticeship with N L Motor Services and is awaiting final assessments for his NVQ Level 3, which means he’s dangerously close to knowing more about cars than the rest of us!
Jack has proven to be a great asset to N L Motor Services, tackling every job with enthusiasm and a sharp mind and in our opinion, is one to watch. His dedication and natural ability earmark him as a very bright, future Master Technician in the making.

Lewis
Meet Lewis, the newest and arguably most determined link in the NL Motor Services chain!
Lewis is Nick’s son and Nat’s stepson, which means his DNA is practically coded with engine oil. Special Skill, ignoring his dad’s advice and proving him wrong (in the best way).
He’s desperate to learn the trade and jump into the family business feet first, and we’re thrilled to say he’s doing incredibly well. Lewis brings enthusiasm to the workshop every day and is desperate to learn the trade. Watch this space—Lewis is here to stay!

Steve – aka Robbo
If there’s a trick to a VW or Audi engine, Steve (aka Robbo) knows it. Having worked at VW and Audi dealerships for longer than Nick cares to remember, Robbo brings a huge amount of highly specialised VAG knowledge to our workshop.
Nick and Robbo first met during their time at the Bath VW Group and shared a bay twice during Nick’s fourteen years in the VAG dealership world. That kind of shared history means there’s an incredible amount of collaborative expertise in our garage.
Aside from his top-tier technical skills, Robbo is genuinely one of the loveliest blokes you’ll meet and is great for team morale. He’s one of our VAG gurus, and a reliable source of workshop wisdom (and a good laugh). We’re pleased he’s finally brought his expertise to Team NL!

Ben
As the newest face at NL Motor Services, Ben has hit the ground running. He’s fitted in seamlessly with the friendship (and chaos), and he also brings a wealth of specialised knowledge. Ben previously honed his skills at independent garages, but also spent time at Mazda in Bath, giving him an extra edge and a fresh perspective on diagnostics and technical precision. This blend of experience means he’s always ready with a solution; crucially, he passed the ultimate NL test: he’s completely mastered the workshop banter and fits in like he’s been here for years. Welcome to the team, Ben—we’re glad you can take a joke!
